Justice of the Peace
Your "JP" in New Hampshire

I've been a New Hampshire Justice of the Peace since 2008. Becoming a JP was a natural
choice, since I had worked in public relations for more than 10 years with the New Hampshire
Air National Guard. My career provided many opportunities for working with people from all
walks of life, public speaking and writing; as well as managing and emceeing special events and
ceremonies. My first year as a JP was so rewarding that when I retired from the Air Guard in
2009, it was an easy decision to turn my enjoyment of officiating weddings into my fulltime
job.
Professionally, I'm a member of JPUS (Justices of the Peace of the US) and NHJPA (New
Hampshire Justice of the Peace A-List Organization). I'm also proud to be part of AMC (the
Appalachian Mountain Club) and PFLAG (Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays).
I delight in celebrating weddings with couples of all ages, regardless of gender, and regardless
of whether you've never been married and you're eager to begin, or you've been married
before and you're confidently beginning again. I'm also happy to officiate for vow renewals and
reaffirmations!
My husband Richard accompanies me to weddings, and he normally takes a few candid photos
of the ceremony. These are amateur photos, but after each wedding we're pleased to share a
few with our couples at no charge, with our compliments. Richard is also a Granite State
Ambassador, and out-of-state couples often find his knowledge of New Hampshire to be helpful
when planning destination weddings for two....or more!
Your ceremony is the heart of your wedding day. I look forward to talking with you about
YOUR plans and working with you to create a wedding ceremony that celebrates your
commitment to life's journey, together!
