Applying for a NH Marriage License
You may apply for a NH marriage license at any town or city clerk's office. The license is valid anywhere in NH. Both persons must be present at the time of application. You must each show a photo ID. (Some NH municipalities now require a birth certificate, so it's wise to call ahead for info & hours.)
If either person has been married before, they must also present a certified copy of the divorce decree, annullment, or death certificate.

The filing fee is $50, payable at the time the application is filled out in the clerk's office. The license is valid for 90 days. There is no waiting period, no blood test, and no requirement for witnesses at your wedding.
